Electrolux Facebook Promotion
Facebook promotion for Electrolux Venezuela. The solution was based in 3 stages: the first stage required users to find different ingredients scattered around the official Electrolux website so they could fill up their virtual fridge. The first 10 people to complete the first stage, would be moved to the second stage which required users to find people that could vote for their fridge. The 3 finalists would pass to the third stage that required users to answer questions about the brand. The winner gets a new Electrolux fridge for Christmas. The promotion was such a success that a new dedicated server was needed to handle the massive traffic.
Fully based in the LAMP stack and CodeIgniter, using the Facebook PHP SDK for authentication.
